Balsamic Vinegar

This exotic speciality vinegar is mild and fruity but has a level of rich intensity at the same time. The tart-fruity flavour of pomegranate makes it wonderful for use in fresh fruit and young green leaf salads. It is especially recommended to drizzle over vanilla ice cream. The combination of flavours from the pomegranate juice and the barrel-aged Balsamic vinegar makes it an excellent choice for refining game and poultry dishes.

  • Fruit salads, ice cream or sorbets can be enhanced with a drizzle of this vinegar.
  • Drizzle over carpaccio or other appetisers for a special fruity touch.
  • Excellent for seasoning, and to add flavour depth to sauces.
  • Create a mixed salad with chopped parsley, mint leaves, griddled Halloumi cheese and scattered pomegranate seeds. Serve with a dressing of this vinegar and our Lemon infused Olive Oil
  • Dress sliced marinated duck breast, and serve with red cabbage and mashed potatoes.
  • Add a finishing touch with a few drops of this vinegar and some pumpkinseed oil to a creamy pumpkin soup served with porcini mushrooms and fried prawns.
  • Make a dressing with this vinegar, Hazelnut oil and freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. Toss through a salad of chicory, radicchio, fresh quartered figs, pomegranate seeds, walnuts and thin slices of Parma ham.
